The Usual Expereince
At times, we feel that somebody is standing at our back or side. Then you look around to see who the person is and you would not find any person. Some do feel that somebody is passing by or that somebody is hiding behind the trees or at the corners of the house. Some others would feel a sizzling sensation of fear all over their body as if danger or ghost is around. At such moment, people ask what is actually happening? And what can be done to stop it.
The fact is that nobody is ever alone, spiritually. That was why a lady, when she saw Jesus, asked “Jesus, why ave you not been seen for so many years?” Jesus replied saying, “I have always been around you. It is you that refused to see Me.”
You know that we have Guardian Angels. They are real, friendly companions. The real problem is that in the course of our daily pursuit of earthly concerns we do neglect these wonderful, ready and willing help providers. People are so much involved with the cares and worries of earthly life that they forget the beautiful friends from heaven.
On the other hand, those who are demon-possessed have a steady or constant companionship of the evil spirits. The evil spirits may be mermaids, ghosts or witches as the case may be. For example, Mary Magdalene was possessed by seven demons. and the mad man from the cemetery told Jesus that his name is Legion, because many evil spirits were possessing him.
In either case of having Guardian Angels or being possessed, a person do have the feeling that somebody is around the corner whenever the Angels or evil spirits communicate or associate with him. After all, what do friends normally do whenever they are around? It is to announce their presence.
That is why the Bible says that we should try every spirit and verify every prophecy, so that we do not receive inspirations from the demons by thinking that God is speaking to us.
